Lines, Vines and Trying Times

The Jonas Brothers. Sigh. Enough said. Here is their 4th album's new cover. What do you think? ;-]

I spent my high school life collecting their albums and posters. (But I actually skipped the first album=p) Right now, I have like, twenty magazines about them. My door even has a big poster of them pinned up and covered transparently for protection.

So basically I save up for their upcoming CD's and magazines that contain something to know about them, or maybe even learning to play the guitar just for fun. It's all their influence, I know. I've already said that like a thousand times. Ha ha ha.

I wonder why it's called "Lines, Vines and Trying Times".

Nick Jonas explained title, "Lines, Vines and Trying Times' bit of poetry we came up with on the set for our new Disney TV show." On the meaning he stated, "Lines are something that someone feeds you, whether it's good or bad. Vines are the things that get in the way of the path that you're on, and trying times — well, obviously we're younger guys, but we're aware of what's going on in the world and we're trying to bring some light to it."

In their latest press release, the article was quoted saying, "With all these themes, it's easy to see how Jonas Brothers came up with the title Lines, Vines and Trying Times. Says Joe Jonas, "Lines are the "proverbial" lines people will feed you, and vines are obstacles that get in your way." Adds Kevin Jonas, "Trying Times can be relationships, or anything personal to you. No one is alone in that; we all go through it."

In another interview, Nick Jonas explains that the album is "our journal in songs," mostly about "all things we've gone through, personal experiences we get inspiration from." He also added that "we've also been working on trying to use metaphors...to kind of mask a literal thing that happens to us." Kevin Jonas also added that "the overall message is its the same old Jonas Brothers, in a sense" and that they will be adding "different musical instruments that are going to add and build to the sound we already have."

Have you noticed that their albums say something to us?
1. It's About Time
2. Jonas Brothers
3. A Little Bit Longer
4. Lines, Vines and Trying Times

So, when you construct it within one sentence (or two,) it becomes:

...IT'S ABOUT TIME FOR THE JONAS BROTHERS TO SING A LITTLE BIT LONGER EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE STILL LINES, VINES AND TRYING TIMES...

It's great! I should really become an alternative blogger or something. Maybe even a journalist. Who knows.

Sometimes, when I'm completely bored, I search for their guitar chords in the net and play them like, for two hours. Or sometimes I'd even listen to all of their songs in Imeem, and watch a zillion videos on Youtube.

That's just the way I roll.
